A variety of Chinese agricultural equipment, including agricultural drones, made a stunning appearance at the 2026 Brazil Agricultural Technology Exhibition held in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo State, from April 27 to May 1. The exhibition has become a window to observe how Chinese technology empowers Brazilian agriculture, with agricultural drones emerging as a key highlight. DJI Agriculture released the latest industry white paper at the exhibition, stating that agricultural drones are moving towards large-scale and standardized development. Its new model launched this year not only increases the tank capacity and spraying flow rate but also adds a hoisting function, which can transport agricultural materials and products in mountainous environments, helping solve the agricultural transportation problems in high-altitude areas. Another Chinese enterprise, Jimu Robotics, focused on demonstrating the operational capabilities of agricultural drones in complex environments. Through laser radar sensor fusion systems and high-computing-power AI chips, its drones achieve omnidirectional perception and "humanoid obstacle avoidance," and can operate in low-light environments, improving flight safety and stability in complex terrain. A local Brazilian agricultural drone spraying company operator said that after introducing Chinese equipment, the plant protection methods of local farms have changed significantly, with Chinese agricultural drones being fast, wide-ranging and stable in pesticide spraying.
